Our annual Christmas Caroling Tour will take place on Friday, December 20th, starting at 5:00 p.m. We'll visit the Currituck House, and several homes in the neighborhood, before returning to the church for a light supper.
Join us for this unique way to bring Christmas cheer to people in our community. |

Each month, our church publishes a newsletter to inform the members and the community at large about things that are happening at Moyock Baptist. To read this month's newsletter, click on the "Current Newsletter" link below.
In each newsletter, our pastor writes an episode of a long, continuing story. If you'd like to read the prior episodes, click the "Prior Episodes" link below.
And, if you'd like to have the newsletter mailed or emailed directly to you or your family, click here to send an email to our church office. |
Candlelight Communion Services |
|
|
|
On Tuesday, December 24th, we will sponsor two candlelight communion services to accommodate families with differing Christmas Eve traditions. The early service will start at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. The later service will begin at 10:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. A nursery will be provided for the 7:00 p.m. service only. |

Our adult choir will present its annual Christmas cantata, Have You Heard? A Celtic Christmas, by Joel Raney, on Sunday, December 15th. There will be two performances, the first at 11:00 a.m. during the worship service and the second at 6:00 p.m. There will be a nursery available for both performances. |
Designed especially for preschoolers and younger children, the Birthday Party for Jesus will take place on Thursday, December 24th, at 2:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall. The party features a reading of the Christmas story by our pastor, a birthday cake in Jesus' honor, and the wrapping of presents for the Christ child.
Each child is asked to bring items suitable for an infant, such as diapers, baby bottles, clothing, etc. During the party, the children will wrap the presents and place them under the Chrismon tree in the sanctuary. After Christmas, the gifts will be donated to the Albermarle Crisis Pregnancy Center. |
